i bought my 91 LE with a NA-SR in it...and comin for a KA-T with a TO4E..this car sucks...i figured the KA took boost pretty well with stock internals..how will the NA sr take it? will the det ecu mate up to the de ecu?..

basicly whats needed to make my NA sr a DET..(i know it dosnt have oil squirters, injectors & my motor higher compression pistons.please for those of you who love to talk down 2 pple like their idiots please leave now)

if any one has done this help me out i just wanna make sure the car will be ok or if theres anything else needed.

but if your interested in a complete NA-SR swap PM me i cant stand no boost..

NA SR will take 400hp on stock internals. You'll be needing anything that supplies/drains fluids from the turbo, bigger injectors, and a DET ECU. The SE-R guys do this all the time. Actually seems like a pain in the butt to me, plus as you mentioned above you don't get the added reliability oil squirters provide.

Yeah my brothers b-chassis friends do it all the time just because you can get most of the setup from a stock DET rather cheap. Thats the only real advantage I see in doing it that way, unless you NA sr is extremely clean and well maintained

you will likely need to use a fwd det ecu to work with the distributor. did it on my b13 and it plugged and played nicely. I'd recommend a gtir ecu/maf/and some s15 injectors, though.

How did this happen? You let go of a KA-T for an n/a SR? Hmmmm. Thats going backwards!
