If you are a manly man, then you can pull the wheel straight off.

If you are a girly man, then you can go to the auto parts store and rent a steering wheel puller.

spray some wd40 where the nutt used to be. Wait 10 minutes and pull. If that dont work, then I suggest you gain some weight or have a friend help pull.

Use a steering wheel puller. I don't understand the concept of proving your masculinity by doing things the hard way.

i ususaly just pull on the wheel while shakeing it. Yanking on it you will just hurt yourself.

mine came off by pulling/wiggling/hitting a few times, but not too hard.

Before you pull the damn thing, see those lines thats coming out of the gap on the right side of the shaft??? MAKE SURE ITS READY TO SLIDE OUT WHEN YOU PULL THE WHEEL OFF!!! If you pull it and not unclip the wires, you could potentially damage a $150 part (clock spring iirc)!!!
