For the masses at least. I was drifting my mustang back in 1989, and was watching Option VHS's since 1995. :)

I wasn't as early of a bloomer as you guys, but I picked up in late '99 early '00. 1993 I just bought my first LSD. I was a broke ass airman, spent too much money on partying.

I don't know what is was, back then every turn I wanted to get sideways, and when it rained I would punch it hard after the turns so I could counter steer. My first car was a 1966 mustang and then that blew up. My second car was a 87 sentra and I learned how to pull the ebrake on that, that was fun. This was way back in the early 90's. It's always been in my blood.

Man, it's all about the drifting homeland... oakland. Haha.

They've been swinging it since before I was born. Or so I've heard.

Eldorado drift anyone?

in 2002-2003, was when the first "commercial" drifting event showed up in USA.
I remember RSR DRift events and Drift show off. they costed 10 bucks to watch. Then D1 showed up in 2004 and killed everything. now everyone and their momma is on the bandwagon. I do remember local track drift events before all this.
now we have forumula drift events and all kinds of silly commercial crap spreading all over USA. fnf3 is a few weeks away too.
