I just got back my R33 GTST calipers from the powdercoater and they look awesome...I am not sure if I am just going to leave the NISSAN lettering gloss black like the rest of the caliper or paint it white....they look really good as they are.

The problem is (I have had nothing but problems doing this brake swap) the powdercoater got coating in all four of the bleeder holes. Can I just re-tap them to clean the threads or does all the paint need to be removed? If so what's best to do this without messing up the aluminum threads?

Thanks

What kind of barke lines are you running?
If they are the SS one, are you able to thread the fitting in the hole?
If you can't thread it in, I suggest some paint thinner and a q-tip; very little thinner and clean as much of the coat as you can. Try to thread in the fitting afterwards.

I always use a tap with some wheel bearing grease on it to clean PC out of blind holes.

If you can find a thread chaser it would be best. But a Tap can be used carefully.
