Anyone interested in buying a Blitz KKK K3T Hybrid
(3070-MGA) Turbo? It is an external wastegate type which is capable of up to 450hp. Previous owner upgraded to a T78 is the reason why it is up for sale. Owner bought it brand new for $1800 5 months ago. It was dynoed at 430hp at 19psi of boost. Boost kicks in at about 3800rpm and pulls all the way to 7900RPM. You'll benefit more with a set of 256 degree cams using this turbo. BEST OFFERS ARE BEING TAKEN for the next week which will be sold to the highest offer.

does it come with the manifold? or anything else?
where is the owner located?

It is only the K3T turbo that is for sale. It will bolt on to a stock SR20DET manifold. If you don't have one I can include a stock manifold for either the red or blacktop SR20DET.
I am in Japan as well as the owner. Shipping takes approximately 10-15 days to the US.

Sorry,
I was wrong when stating that the stock SR manifold will work....duh.......I'm so used to dealing with the internal wastegate type turbos!!
The owner didn't want to sell the manifold initially but he is now willing to sell it with the turbo.
And yes, it does use the T25 flange. Thanks for waking me up!

is it a blitz manifold?
if so then how can it include a t25 flange?
or is it a stock manifold modified to fit a k3t?

To YellowBulbs:
I dont think its a Blitz Manifold. The K3T flange is a T25 as questionable as it may seem.

Man you guys are cheap!
The turbo is still on the car. I'll try to get some good shots so you can see how it is set up. The wastegate piping comes out of the manifold and down on the left=side firewall. Don't think this will be a good setup for the Left hand drive silvias...bummer.

it'll still work with left had drive silvias.. just like the GReddy T67 KIt all you have to do is just flip the wastegate around.. thats it.. cut weld..

damn...that's a really good deal. Give me some time, and I can probably come up with it. By the way, where are you located at...shipping reasons.

Also, could you post some pics of the turbo?

Can this turbo be tailor-made to hook up on to a ka24de....plan on making the ka turbo...don't really want to do the swap.

E-mail either way though.

Mark

You can tailor make anything fit. The question is how much is it going to cost?
I did a turbo job on a normally aspirated SR20DE motor by basically changing out the pistons with Pulsar X1R SR20DET parts. It was relatively easy and inexpensive. I have never worked on or even seen a KA24 motor
so I am in no position to quote an estimate of what it's going to take.

Tyler Durdan
06-20-2002, 11:27 PM
Well, my plan is to buy a second ka24de, and rebuild the damn thing to be bulletproof. This includes every working part in the engine that could possibly have some type of weakness. I plan on taking that engine, and swapping it into my 97 240sx se. Next thing to do would be a turbo. So, is this turbo applicable to my setup.

Either way, if you could, e-mail me some pics if you don't mind. I may go with the sr swap. Thanks.

I saw the Blitz K3T turbocharger and it is an awesome looking thing! I have the same K3T on one of my 95 MR2 and it is definitely a great turbo! I must say his asking price is a price one can't complain about! :!:

I was able to get the owner to sell the manifold and all the necessary piping minus the wastegate. Selling price is $975 plus shipping. I will send pics to anyone who is interested.
Thanks
I can include a good used Trust Type C wastegate for an additional $550.
