i bought a engine tourque damper,
after i got the damper and tried to push it, !!!?????!!
i thoght that the damper must be strong but even when i push full force (use my full weight)i can move it 3mm (0,11 inch) at most!!!, that must be too strong.

so i think thats too hard an probaly damage my cylinder head

also tried to change the internials but how should it work?

has someone experience with this kind of damper???
how should work such a damper correctly??

It's not a damper. They're called that, but when you take it apart you'll see it's just a rod built to look like a damper. There is no hydraulic action of any kind. The main benefit is that it's adjustable instead of just bolting a piece of flat bar to the engine.

Cylinder head will be fine as long as the bracket is installed correctly.

Did you also upgrade the engine and tranny mounts?

you pushed it 3mm because if you open it, you will see a piece of rubber or polyurethane.

no, i has no engine or trany mount upgrades, hard to get for ca18 especialy when you live in europe
and i opend it after i tried to push it, also changed to various types of rubber, tried also a heavy spring combinated with rubber but this all has no meaning if i didn`t know how strong it should be

is it normal to be that hard???! i mean if i put in a iron pipe the effect will be the same
no one has got a problem with this? (especialy cylinder head)

when you push your "damper" with your full weight how much does it move?
same as mine?
