5 speed swap

my name is wes and i have a short question im doing a five speed conversion on a 95 240sx and i need to know if the automatic ECU will work with the five speed tranny cause im getting alot of yes's and a lot of No's so which one is it!!!!

It will run fine with the Auto ECU

You will probably get a CEL however, which will not pass inspection in some states.

In order to not get the CEL you will have to get the 5speed ECU, or ghetto rig the Auto ECU to not throw a code (not sure how that's done but some people have ghetto rigged their auto ecus).
