I'd like better pictures of the HKS, You said that they are Hypermax D's but...I don't believe it is....I say this because the picture that is posted "as Hypermax D's" are not Hypermax D.

1. The rear strut casing should have a 2nd perch below the spring perch and on top of the strut casing "allowing for ride hieght adjustment" in the picture it seems that you can only lower the hieght via the spring perch.

2. HKS Hypermax D's Have Black color Threads (I believe teflon coated) in your picture they are silver.

I'm not knocking or flaming your post but I got excited thinking that you had what you said...but in reality they are not. I'm willing to bet that the HKS coils your getting are Hypermax II. However if you get the shipment in and if they are Actually Hypermax D's then shoot me PM and i'll happily take them off your hands.

Thanks and please confirm your products.

The older model Hipermax Ds did not have black threads. They very well could just be older model D's. We'd need to see a closer picture.

That's because the older model HKS Dampners are known as Hypermax II...which your right the threads are not black. And the older models are not known as Hypermax D's......BTW the pic. you sent me ghostdancer, are the spiting image of the dampners posted here. i.e. not Hypermax D's!!!!! Anyhow Thanks for the picture.

Actually they are Hipermax D's as you can clearly see in this picture.

The older model Hipermax D's are NOW being produced as Hipermax IIs. The new Hipermax D's (black threads) are a step up from both the old Hipermax D's (now produced as Hipermax IIs.

Just saw your post before i sent you the email.....then like i mention (in the PM) they shouldn't be Advertise as Hipermax D's but as Hypermax II if that is what they are known to be that now. oh and just becuase it said's hiper D doesn't quite make it..."Hipermax D's" the Hiper D could stand for Hiper series Dampners.... but you can't assume because of this "sticker" and automaticly associate it as Hipermax D Dampners.

So it's inappropriate to call a coilover by the name HKS gave it? Are you fucking kidding me?

Yes because they are not known as Hypermax D's any more, so in actuality they are Hypermax II and in reality by calling it Hipermax D you are not calling it by the name HKS gave it....It may have been 5-6 years ago but Not ANY MORE!!!!!!!

good luck on the sale dizthaiboi

these coilovers are from japan people they probably have been used in autox type racing with hard driving and cornering daily so id be a little cautious as to pay so much usless i knew where they came from and if they came off a running car or not. id pay at most 800 for the kei office and jic
