I just bought a 89 rb20 coupe for couple months with no problem until now.I was driving around 70 mph on 5th going up a hill I was intending to go fourth but got second tires squeeled but caught it so maybe a second.
Now everytime I reverse with some gas in the pedal or down shift normaly it rattles.So went and look underneath and what I saw is the rear nuts(The one that hold the driveshaft to the diff) is hitting the swaybar.I see the scraping in the swaybar and the nuts have scuffing on it.Its about an inch or two away from it when it's not moving.
So what do I have to replace? Any suggestion would greatly appreciated.Thanks for looking!
