Ok guys as title states. I have a 1998 S14 DOHC MAF and I saw the topic discussed before on how DOHC KA mafs work S13 SR. the thing is no one actually answered my question about the 98 MAF working on my black top S13 set up. the reason I am asking this is because I just had my engine completly rebuilt and I wanna have a good working MAF for the first start up because I wanna be sure everithing is up to specs I don;t wanna run stupid and piston rings not seal correctly. I Do have an SR MAF that was guaranteed to work but is in a terrible condition (Visually) and I know for a fact the the other KA maf works. so I rather use the KA maf. the only thing is will it work? who else has done it? anyone willing to let me try it in their car? (I got plug and A'Pexi Cone Filter) any information will be greatly apreciated
I was looking through both the SR FSM and the 98 KA FSM and it says
S14 SR FSM: Idle speed Voltage 0.8-1.5V
3,000RPM Voltage 1.4 - 2.0V
1998 240sx FSM: Idle speed Voltage 1.3-1.7V
2,500 RPM Voltage 1.7-2.1V
thanks,
