my clutch isn't tightening when bled

my clutch keeps going to the floor when i try and bleed the air bubbles out. DO u think it could be the slave cylinder?

What are you doing to bleed?

gonna need 2 people. one to pump the clutch pedal, one to crack the bleeder on the slave cylinder.

pump pump pump, hold. Crack the bleeder. Tighten the bleeder. pump pump pump, hold, crack the bleeder, tighten the bleeder, pump pump...u get the idea.

While ur holding down the clutch pedal, when u crack the bleeder, the pedal will go to the floor. DO NOT LIFT UP THE CLUTCH PEDAL when the bleeder is still open. That will allow more air in the system.

When ur done bleeding, re adjust the clutch pedal per FSM.

Also, consider removing the dampner box on the clutch line. you can find out how to do this on zeroyon.com

If the clutch stays on the floor, when the bleeder screw is closed, you may have a leak. If the valve is open, it (clutch pedal) will stay down, you have to lift it up manually to pump the air out.(one man bleeder system)

If you clean all common suspect areas you may see a fluid leak, not always theres a chance it just lets in air, then pumps out air.(rare)

Ok, i'd say look at the rubber line if you still have it.(connected to the slave cylinder)

This hydraulic system is not a complicated one.
