1. Does 5-lug rear disk Maxima hubs fit?
2. If I put the battery in the trunk, is it better if I pull the negative wire too?
3. Does "PS" mean the same thing as "HP"?

That's about it for now.

Wow, someone ban this "fast" guy....but onto the questions and to ignore the Mustang owner...

1. I could not tell you for sure right now...i have a 90 Maxima that is in the shop right now (Straps holding the fuel tank rusted apart ), but when i get her back ill do some looking into it.

2. i would wire both positive and negative cables to the battery in the trunk to help reduce confusion later on....although again, i cant give any tech help here .

3.PS is very similar to Horsepower....if i remember corectly, it is only a few decimals off....once again i cant be much help here...

Sorry if i couldent help more...someone else will reply soon enoguh with some good hard fact answers.

What do you mean, if you pull the negative cable? What were you gonna do with it?

I figure he's thinking about grounding it to the chassis?
I never heard of anyone doing that, so don't do it.

PS is indeed almost the same as HP so the lil decimal points are worthless to consider

1. Dunno, don't think it would be much cheaper than the proven Z brakes though. . .

2. iirc, negative should be grounded to the chassis.

3. what they said.

1. The junkyard I go has a lot of maximas. They never have 240SX (91 and up)

2. What I want to know is if there will be any difference depending on where you ground the negative.

thanks guys for your help

the only one i have experience w/ is the battery reloaction - we did it on my roommate's maxima.

you run a +12V from the trunk to the engine bay... just ground the battery to the chassis (and make sure that if the engine ground went to the battery terminal that it still is connected to the chassis in front). if i'm wrong on this please say so, but it works great on his car

you should try to keep the ground for the battery in the trunk as short as possible. and while your at it, take a few minutes to replace an up-size your engine to chassis ground to the same size the cables running to the trunk. im assuming your gonna use 4-ga or larger right?
