So I was looking for these for a while and finally got them...now I never knew before I bought them that they lit up till the guy selling mentioned it. However he said it didn't work. I didn't care bout it but now that I have them the intrigued side of me made it a challenge to make them work. I wired them directly to the battery and no lighty but when I connect them directly to AC....walla..
Light! (is black when not lit)

Could it be the battery doesn't have enough juice?! I doubt it...must be missing something. Anybody out there slick enough to figure this out? TIA

There's a converter that's part of the setup along with a full harness, whoever you bought them from just cut the wiring short and took them.

I know my friend said the same thing but I was bored figured something crazy would happen but be entertaining. Hope I didn't fk them up but I guess doesn't matter.

Well the leds work but can't wire them up w/out the harness that was cut. Anybody else can come up w/ work around no harness?
BTW thanks again justin for the sell..

just run a relay off of the AC that you hooke it up to before. And hooki up the relay to close when you turn on your parking lights. That ought to make them look like they're integrated into the system. If you have a spare switch in the car, use that to turn them on independantly. Those look good BTW.

They are supposed to light up when the door opens. I know there are interior lights you can hook them up to. Just make sure you check the voltage that those lights are supposed to receive. I have the louvers with the converter/little black box, but I won't be able to check anything till next week.

AC is a plug from the wall socket...don't think I'll be able to run that relay ;)
Slidin240Wayz I think you are local to me. Let me know if you can help me out. I'll check back w/ you in a week or so...Much appreciated!
