I tried selling this a little while ago but decided to keep it but have since changed my mind.
I have an 1996 s14 SE without LSD or ABS that I am looking to sell for around 4000 OBO. I rarely drive it since I got my s2000 so I figure someone else will be happier with it. It currently has 150K miles on it and just had a tune up so it is mechanical sound. I use to drive long road trips in it so I can atest to that. In December it was lowered, got new tires (maybe a 1000 total miles on them since then) and alignment. Also a new battery was put in sometime in January along with the lines and cylinders for the transmission have also been changed out in November. Current mods are as follows:
hks NA hi-power exhaust
aem short ram intake
stanza electric fans
rsr race springs
agx shocks/struts
ebay ruca
ebay strut bar
short shifter
aftermarket speakers in the rear
centerforce dual friction clutch
kumho 711 (225/50/16)
q45 front brakes
axxis metal masters in the front
it has a water temp and oil pressure gauge installed but not currently hooked up.
The reason why I have the price low is because the body of the car is not as sound as the engine. The front bumper got pushed in slightly on the driver side, it was put back into place and really cannot tell but it is still there. The sunroof is currently not able to be used because the liner is broken on one side, something I have been told can be replaced somewhat easily. There are also spots where the paint is showing age, but does look good overall.
The car can be driven long distances as it stands, but the T/C rods are going to need to be changed due to their age. Right now you can hear a clunking from the front due to that, something that can be replaced with aftermarket ones or stock ones.
I am selling the car at the price stated because of the things that will need to be done to the car, though none of them are to make the car drive on the road. I do drive it to work every now and then but the s2000 gets more time. I hope I can sell the car off to someone that will appreciate what I have already done and fix what I have not gotten to due to the new car. The car overall is in good condition, just needs things that would need to be fixed on a car of its age. I currently dont have pictures on my computer here at work but if you are interested, I can email them to you on a later date. My email is [email protected] or PM me.
