I have heard rumors that next month the prices for the SR will be going up. Anyone else hear about this?

SR's are getting out of hand price wise. Sooner or later the US will have all the SR motors hahaha. There is no way in hell im paying 2k for a basic redtop SR. Thats why I got a CA for 750.00 with lots of money to spend on goodies, like headgasket, turbo ect.....

I paid $3,400 for a 90 fastback chassis and redtop from a 93 180SX with 60k km/40k mi. The motor was 95% installed. The chassis was clean but needed work to be street legal.

its not really how much you paid for it? you also gotta count in effect the shape of the motor and the service that they give you! sure its nice to pick up a motor for 500 bucks but if you gotta put 2 grand into it to get it running right, then why not just get a motor thats in running shape for 2 grand? i paid 1700 canadian for mine and i havent had any problems with the engine since i got it installed 2 years ago!
