read this article about the bluebrid altessa in aus.

article (http://www.nissanperformancemag.com/june02/attessa.php)in one of the ?'s they ask him how the car differs he says most of the blue birds are ka24det. anyone know if thats a stock engine? or do they modify those in austrailia also?i thought the us only got the ka? and a awd driveline niceeeeeeeeeeeeeee

anyone got info on this? (the ka24det part)

My guess: he meant KA24DE and it was typo.

All 93 and above blue birds have Sr20de or a select few have det. anything older than 93 has ca18de and I think a few had the det. my friend had a 89 with a ca18de

I think he was supposed to mean "a wolf under a sheep's skin"--in other words: &nbsp;looks like a good boy, but is really a bad-ass underneath.

so do they have ka24de's in japan and aus.? thats what i want to know?
