diff. speaker mounts

is there a place were u can buy bigger front speaker mounts.  my "handy-man" friend said he could make me some or just cut the factory ones but i rather buy some instead of lettin him fuck shit up.

i just made ones out of pieces of wood sitting arround my friends house.

I think I should have used better wood though.

i've looked around for sites of ppl that have done their sound system on their 240 and i've seen a bunch of different sizes, but they dont like like they made them, unless theyr pretty bad ass cuz they dont look home made

i modified mine to fit 4x6 replacement plate speakers by Boston acoustic have to make a slight modification but they are very clear and crisp

I made mine to fit 6.5" in the front doors. I just used a piece of sheet metal to replace the factory mount and then bolted it to the door with a little weather stripping in between. Then i used XTC baffles to keep water off the speakers. Sounds great. I used to have a webpage with pics of it all up but i just had to reformat and for some reason my webpage crapped out and i didnt have the pics backed up! sorry...
