View Full Version : piston rings might be bad?
i think i'm burnign a little oil, it's not very bad, but i don't want it to get worse, my firend said it's most likely the piston rings... where can i get some, how much do they normally run ya, i just got zex nitrous hooked up to my car and i want good rings so i don't burn oil so, i'd appreiceate the car, i've got 8 days b4 i get my car back.. i can't wait yeah!!!!!

IF and thats a big if (what makes you think your burning oil through the piston rings) you are burning oil through your piston rings do not run nitrous. To replace piston rings pretty much means your rebuilding your engine.

defiantely a good question.. What makes you think it's your rings? or that your buring oil to begin with? are you sure your not leaking it?
