I have heard you can buy them in the states like AZ and such? I am looking for more or less a track car or trophy car. I have heard of a few people getting them in the midwest and not registering them. I am looking to spend less then $3-4k on a TRUE S13. Anyone help me out on who to contact? Thanx
why do you want to get a "real" s13 when you could just sr swap, dash swap, i guess firewall and tail light swap and be done with it?

did you try searching?
there are a ton of car importers in Canada b/c many JDM cars have become legal there. There are also quite a few in the US (but of course none of the vehicles are legal)

They are easily found in california. Local tuners usually import them not registered or off road use only.

I local company here in Washington has a lisenced S15, and an R33, both fully legalized via many a loophole. JDMimportsdirect.com I believe is where to find them. Probably a good place to start your trail to dissapointment.

I know, stupid questions like that make me want to E-smack people. Maybe I'm just cranky because I haven't had breakfast yet, so, I feel like an asshole. Regardless. You'll have a hard enough time finding a good USDM s13 in that price range. BTW s13 is s13 is s13, just like a s14 is a s14. The chassis is the same here as it is over there. They are all true s chassis. Google, search, do something but don't ask...duhhh, where can i find a silvia in the US???
EDIT: yeah, go to Arizona and find that place that Paul Walker bought his R34 I bet that place has tons of JDM S13 Silvias covered in dust just waiting for you to buy one. Go drive around the desert for a while, I'm sure you'll find it.

if your buying a silvia, your not going to get one for the price that you have stated. just pick up a 240sx and drop a sr20 in it and do the s13 conversion. I am friends with a few guys who import cars into canada and have driven a hand full of s13's and there is no difference besides the rhd comapred to a 240 with a sr20 or a ca18

you can find a TRUE S13 anyday in autotrader for that price. The only way you will find a Silvia for that price is if it's n/a and crumpled up. There is no point in importing chassis that we already have here in the states. it will cost you more than converting. swap the motor, and you have the same thing, without the drive-thru hassles, johnny law hassles, and all the gawking

If you are serious about wanting a silvia, its gonna cost you A LOT more than that, and probably be illegal if its anyting more than a track-only car. This has been discussed to death. use the search button its there for a reason.

if you really want one I could get you one but its not going to be in your price range. $8k for a stock s13, honestly its not worth it. if you are going to do the rhd conversion get ready to do major fab work.

Why would u want a JDM chassis? there is no difference other than you its RHD. Plus the fact that DMV will make you jump thru hoops to get a US vin for it....
