I am selling my 240SX it has 113K miles on the chassis and less than half that on the motor and transmission. It is a clean title with no frame damage and has had only sheet metal damage (see car domain) at one point which has been repaired with all the exterior work you see here. The car runs well and drives like a modified 240SX should. I wouldn’t cross country the car but it has easily handled trips to LA. This is not another half-assed 240SX, it was built with good parts and worked on by the best in the bay area.

It seems however all good things must come to an end. I am selling my 240SX because it has come time for me to put more focus on my future housing situation and professional career. I really hate to see this car go especially with all the long nights of hard work I have put into it, but you can make my loss your gain. This car would be great for grip, drift, or just flossing around your local Q-Cup (or whatever tickles your fancy). I built the car with the intention of using only high quality parts and those that give the car a unique and rare style.

The car is built to be well balanced, with a stiff suspension, sticky tires and moderate power. Of course you can always turn up the boost and throw some not so massive tires like the 275s on there right now and have a fun forte into drifting. The choice is yours once you own the car. Oh and as far as ownership goes, you also get a few added bonuses! A Cover Craft custom fit blue car cover, and not one but three 17 inch drift wheels with tires that you can convert into a gaseous cloud of rubber.

I am looking for candidates that are serious about purchasing the car, have the money ready, and are responsible enough to pilot the car. Last thing I want to see is my masterpiece wrapped around a pole because you thought it would be fun to drift the intersection.

So how much you might say? Well if you want to play calculator there is easily 40K into the car, probably closer to 50 including the labor etc. I am taking offers but expect them to be around the 20K mark. A VERY fair price considering all that you are getting. That’s easily half what the car is worth in work and mods. If you tried building one like this yourself with all your “hookups” you’d go well over 20K and still have to wait months and months for the parts. The cars is basically 100% new except for the chassis & internals of the motor. This car is magazine worthy and has not been published, I let your reap the benefits of the editorial.

Last time I posted the car to test the waters, I was flooded with inquiries, but lets get serious about the sale this time around, I am very busy and don’t have time for you just to come see that car and get a free ride. Those that know 240SX’s know what to expect from the mods the car has listed below.

So if you are interested you can reach me ONLY by email at [email protected] I will respond promptly.

Some resources for the car are as follows:

I have dyno sheets somewhere in my garage, I believe when we were baselining the car with the new turbo we ran it at 7 lbs and made 237ish, but then never turned up to boost since the car has an old OEM headgasket on it. Those are very good numbers for 7 lbs of boost on a T28 BB I'll look for the dyno chart when I get home. The car still has a stock headgasket, so I am still running the same boost. It's up to the buyer to change a $200 headgasket to run 15+ psi and make 280+ whp.

No trades unless you happen to have a redline sky turbo.

The responses so far have been great guys, thanks.

Care to elaborate? His car is very nice looking.

I was thinking the same thing too, well he gave me a free bump I guess...

Oh yea the car has kouki tails that I didn't list on the exterior section, big whoop another $400.

As far as trades go, I see used S2Ks going for high teens nowadays, so thats an option for a trade, possible an older 350Z base model that pusing high teens in KBB.

I have been getting a bunch of "can you remove some parts off the car so it is cheaper" emails, so my question is what can I take off the car so that it still runs when you buy it and is driveable that would make any economic impact?

Still taking offers, all the ballers contacting me so far are out of state, or east coast so that makes thing more complicated as well...

Bobbyboy, I still have old pics of your car when you were at the 350z meet, I think 2 years ago.

Good luck with the sale!

Get a 350z! You know you like it!

I would've expected that in Cali, all the ballers don't rock S-Chassis, and all the people that want them are dreamers. . .like myself. :loco:

Good luck with the sale. I remember seeing the car and it really is nice. I'd love to have that car but I have no place to store it.

arrange for shipping, or have them do it. more money, but it gets sold quicker because you are not limiting your sales range to just west coast.

I remember seeing this car out at the Folsom Lake Nissan Meet last year. This thing is beautiful and worth every penny. The new owner will be happy. Good luck on the sale.

Thanks for your support guys, I wish I didn't have to sell it, but as you know, being an early 20-something old in the bay area is tough enough finacially especially with the ridiculous housing prices!

Hopefully my expectations aren't too ridiculous as well, but there is a lot of work and rare/expensive parts (*cough* real GP sports) into the car, and specialty body work. I am willing to accept all reasonable offers in order to get out of the tight spot I am in however. 20K is probably a pipe dream, but I wanted to throw it out here on zilvia first since I knew some people liked the car and might be interested. But if worse comes to worse I'll have to let the EBay Monster snatch up my ride to someone who might not enjoy it as much as you true enthusiasts would.

I have been getting requests for more pictures, especially of the interior and the engine, so I'll be sure to get those up for you guys once the weekend hits and I have enough time to do so.

Oh yea BTW here are some pics and a gallery link from that Folsom Lake meet we had a while back. Yea I roll with R34 GTR's ;)

lol, i'll trade my usdm tails + cash for your kouki tails, but i really dont expect you to consider it, and a simple "no thank you" would suffice

and once again like everyone said, beautiful car man, one of the best 13.5's in the world in my opinion (along with the black s13.5 from australia), good luck with the sale

I'd like to keep the tails on the car, it completes the look.

Good god, I remember seeing this car on craigslist... literally years ago.

It looked clean, but I remember seeing some lame pictures in the ad which had been edited to have some skanky looking model standing near the car XD
