PipingPro.com - Pro GT Intakes!

Finally!! An affordable intake for the GT2871r, disco potato, etc

You spent so much money on the turbo itself and supporting mods... don't go cheap on the basics! Many people who I have spoken with are running with a bunch of reducers in their homemade intake which sacrifice HP and muffle the sound.

This full 3" high quality polished aluminum pipe gives the turbo spool a much clearer and crispier sound and free's up HP. This is a complete bolt on kit, and is much more affordable than other kits out there (Save over 75%) and yes, these can be customized to your setup. Choose from various catch can bung sizes, and even add a blow off valve recirculation bung.

The materials used are rather more expensive than the other kits i've put together, but my main goal was offering an inexpensive alternative.
So here it is...

Mirror Polished:

Inside the pipe:

Pipe with stock catch can:

The kit:
http://www.pipingpro.com/shop/images2/pro28kit.jpg

Kit comes with polished intake pipe, Silicone 4-ply coupler for turbo, Silicone coupler for (Z32) MAFS, and clamps (upgrade available). (Also looking into offering brackets for air filter/MAFS, but not available at the moment.)

Pricing:
These prices all include shipping (which costs about $10-12)

Kit 1 -- Intake pipe with no bungs: $65 shipped
Kit 2 -- Intake pipe with catch can bung or BOV bung: $70 shipped
Kit 3 -- Intake with both catch can and BOV recirculation bung: $75 shipped

All prices include PayPal/shipping fees. Items are generally shipped via 2-3day shipping to reduce wait time!

Catch can bung sizes:
Please tell me which size you want me to use. I have three sizes, 10mm, 12.7mm (1/2 inch), and stock size 19.05mm (3/4 inch).

Stainless Steel T-Bolt clamp upgrade:
If you want any SS T-bolt clamps, I offer them for $3/clamp, with no additional shipping charges.

Air filters:
We are offering air filters as well. Just add $20 to the order. For info please go to http://www.pipingpro.com

Please keep in mind that it is a full 3" pipe, and there's little room by the turbo area. However, it seems to provide the most room between the power steering resevoir and the hotpipe (other intakes rattle against them, especially if there's a BOV welded onto the hotpipe). The closest thing to the pipe (once mounted) is the power steering pump line.

Important:
Keep in mind that these are all custom made, and are done to the best of my ability. To get the best possible outcome, it would be very helpful if you provided pictures of your setup (ESPECIALLY if what is involved is very intricate). When ordering, make sure you let me know where your BOV/catch tank is located, along with some pictures if possible.

I prefer PayPal but will accept Money Order.

Thanks for the orders guys. And for those of you asking, the initial required amount for the group buy to start has already been met. So this is an ongoing group buy meaning there is NO longer a need to wait for a set amount of people to pay first. Thanks

can you show a pic of this mounted on the car with a torque damper over the hotpipe?

i am having a hard time getting my hotpipe low enough and if this will work i would likely grab it

bing,
i'm not quite sure what you're referring to when you say hotpipe because this group buy is for intakes. There are some 2871r intakes out there they loop upwards first and may not help with clearance of a torque damper, but this one doesnt loop upwards at all. But if you need any coupler bends for the hotpipe to try to get some more clearance let me know... hope i understood you correctly.

ah sorry... the elbow i am using from the turbo outlet on the compressor housing to the hotpipe looks almost exactly like what you have here so i just assumed that is what is was.

im just looking for something that will allow to me adjust my hotpipe lower so i cna put my tq damper back on... no worries

Well I do sell s13 hotpipes and have couplers (90º/45º) of all sizes to adapt the pipe to the turbo.. let me know if you need anything like that. Thanks.

do you have pics of it on the car? I've been looking for anything, i don't have a MAF so the intake can actually go down instead of up. but either way would make me more happy than rubbing on the ps pump.

yeah I'd like to see a pic installed as well if anyone has one.

I'll most likely be ordering one very soon.

I'll be getting pics up as soon as I can. This intake goes around the ps pump and below the ps resevoir to minimize clearance issues. Please contact me for availability once you're ready to order since i'm regularly selling out (faster than I can stock)

hey, would you be able to make beads at the end of the pipes, cause they would hold tighter with the couplings..... i'm interested in them....

Hi,
In my experience, beads are not absolutely necessary for intake related piping. This is due to the fact that the intake pipe is never pressurized, unlike intercooler piping where it is necessary to have some sort of beaded end.

As for your order, just let me know what bungs you need welded on it.

any way u can make a kit for a hks styled inlet?

I do not recommend PipingPro. I waited almost 2 months for my intake (just wanted a regular t25 intake with recirc hole only). They did give me $15 off or so after one month of waiting. But when it finally arrived, it looked terrible. There was an extra hole inlet for the catch can that had been just hacked off and filled with a little weld. It looks absolutely horrible. Granted he offers these for a very reasonable price, he apparently does not try very hard. Just a heads up

I can offer some intakes. No bungs though. I will talk to the mods to see how much I can do since I would be working as an individual, NOT a business.
