I need Zilvia's help. My cousin is going to get married in 3 weeks, and he asked me to make a CD with slow jams and wedding songs, to be played during the reception.

I didn't want to put any "new school" songs on it, meaning post-'95. Name some songs you like, or if you're married, the song played at your wedding.

I'm talking about the likes of Barry White, Al Green, Temptations, etc.

Thanks! :bigok:

I think "Between the Sheets" was by Marvin Gaye.

Boyz II Men owns, but is kinda new school. Still love them. Fuck it, I'll go add one of their songs.

Here and Now- Luther Vandross
You're All I Need- Marvin Gaye & Tammy Terell
You Are My Lady- Freddy Jackson
You and I- Peabo Bryson & Angela Bofill

I need like 12 really good songs. Thanks for the suggestions. Timelife CD's are the shit.

How about one of the most tear-jerking remakes ever: "So Much in Love" by All 4 One?

By the way, do NOT ever hire Omar Khan from KROQ -- he kept playing songs like "Goin' Back to Cali". If you know the lyrics, it's not exactly a wedding-type song. All the grandma's almost had heart attacks...

Sade was mentioned, but try out "Paradise," "Nothing can Come Between Us," "No Ordinary Love," and "Kiss of Life..."

... in fact, hit me up on AIM for her whole CD and you can decide, I have another couple of suggestions I could make as well.
