HELP with seat install.

OK i am having problem with my universal seats.....
the rails wont fit and it seems that maybe the seat is also too  high
i got the OBX seat,.....
i am going to buy the sparco rail. and see if it works.....
any advice?
it is a S13.... the driver side is the biggest  bitch.,,,,,

I had to make a custom seat braket for my MOMO seat.  The sliders and "universal mount" made the seat WAY too high.  I used angle iron stock to make the mount, the bottom of the seat is about an inch or two from the floor and sits almost flush on the front mounting beam.  It's a bitch because of the shape of the floor.

I posted some pics of it a while back, I can send them to you if you want.

this topic is asked repeatedly. in fact, i think there's another recent thread like this in either this forum or the chat forum. i will pass on the same information that dousan tells newbies. get bride rails. sparco, recaro, jic, whatever else are all universal rails or sit too high. they suck. as to where to find bride rails, go here. i found this link helpful. bride rails for sale (http://www.google.com) ;) have a nice day.

btw, i was looking into obx seats. how is the quality on them? are they comfortable and how much did you pay for your set? do they come in yellow and black or racy colors like red and black.. :p

i just used the corbeau seat brackets on my nex
racing seats and they work mint!
corbeau doesnt like selling just the brackets
so just tell them that its for corbeau seats you alredy have that
came out of a different car.
their brackets dont place the seat to high at all
work well
