one problem would be a bouncy idle..

does dying after being warmed up count? or when coming to stops?

DL the FSM @ zeroyon.com
then, look up TPS problem diagnosing.
It will tell you how to check the voltage on the TPS sensor. IF the voltage is in range (per FSM) then its not your TPS. You should also check other sensors as well, per FSM

check you engine temp sensor to ecu also, i donno about coming to stops but warming up might have an affect on that.

it was changed with a new one before it went in the car last week. i'll check the fsm.

i have the same problem, let me know if you figure out a fix. it hapens more often for me when the water temp is around 60-70degreesC. could it have something to do with an o2 sensor? im running the power fc d-jetro (map).

to diagnose sensor problems you have to test the voltage on your sensors. you gotta follow the FSM to do that...trust me, if you have a bad sensor, your voltage reading will be off spec. test the sensors and fix your problem.

Well his cars acting like hes running a BOV. Itll run fine, but when he comes to a stop, car will die. Not running a BOV, checked most of the lines and couplings, havent found a leak. He has a SAFC, figured setting the Decel will kinda alleviate the problem...started going over all the settings on it over the computer to help him out and seems like TPS is showing weird voltages. Off throttle, its showing more than 1V when it should be between 0-1V. When he went to monitor the TPS, its showing that its at 100% even tho hes not even touching the throttle. WOT stayed at 100%. Checked the SAFC setting and its at 4 cyl and arrow pointing upper right where it should be. I dont think its the water temp sensor just cuz the car doesnt bog at all, just when it decels coming to a stop.

last nite i went to the car. i sprayed some carb cleaner around the cold pipe that i think i have the leak on and started lightly revving it while loooking at it to see if i see bubbles. needless to say i got an eye full of carb cleaner. i dont think i was even boosting that hard while i was revving it but it was still leaking. seems like i have to clog that up since its acting like a bov. but im still lost on the tps till i get a volt meter.
