Are there more than one type of KYB AGX shocks for an s13?!?!? I swear i've seen them being sold on here for around $250 and they are on ebay for $330. I posted on the wanted to buy forums for them and I got two offers for over $600. Is there possibly something wrong with the ebay ones?

there are 2 types of kyb for 240sx. GR-2 which are non adjustable. and AGX which are adjustable. you want the AGX. And I have them. And I'm the one selling them here on zilvia for $280. this isnt a FS forum, so if you are interested just email me. BTW, there is nothing wrong with the ebay ones. they are just more expensive then what im selling them for and the people that quoted you $600 are just being retarted and trying to rape you.

I've got the GR2's off of Ebay. I have actually bought 2 sets with no problems. Here's the thing, if you aren't going to be doing any events, why spend the extra money for the AGX's???? The GR2's are like $150 for all four. I guess just weigh your options, why spend the money if you don't have to.... right?

If you buy KYBs from a retailer you qualify for their limited lifetime warranty. Don't buy from eBay...haha

this is true. Only downside from ebay. I don't know how much the GR2's are from a retailer, but, you should at least check before you make a purchase.

I've heard the GR2's are not any better than stock shocks, and can't support a 2" drop.

not true and not true. My friend has the GR2's and the Eibach sportlines. 2.1" frop in the front, and 2.0" in the back I believe. They ride like a cadillac. I love them man. But it's up to you.

gr-2 is stock replacement...kyb is way stiffer and a much better "ride" plus you can adjust them. i have them, i love them, and in my opinion, i would get agx over gr-2 ANY DAY. but then again, i like to drift and do mountain runs...and im too poor for coilovers :[
