I've been hearing a lot of chatter about 240's getting hit hard by cops... getting pulled over for no reason and hood popping, etc. Happen to anyone here? Anybody else hearing the same thing?

i got pulled over a couple of days ago in berkely, because i paassed through some.
yllow signal lights w/o slowing down. That was all BS though. I know damn well i slowed down and was cautious, its because my exhaust was loud basically. He pulled me over and asked me for licence, insurance, registration.
Dumbass me left my wallet at my house w/ my license inside :( He ran my plates and name, i was okay. He let me off with a "warning, next time take caution when you see yellow lights". Cop was a white guy. car #331. Damn stupid cop...

The funny thing is when i left, i was watching him through my rear view, and he pulled over another car. I have no idea why, i was about 1 1/2 blocks away from him.

Probally the same one that followed EVAN in berkely.

berkeley cops love me, i get pulled over, and they go "OH YOUR THE OSCARS KID, GO ON HOME" :bigok:

the real reason they pulled you over is cause your car looks like poo :keke:

I've only been pulled over for no front plate, but it's because the cop was bored. I didn't get a ticket or anything.

i got pulled over for going out of a driveway sideways then they accused me of having turbo on the intake side. they said my car was too low so i told them they couldnt write me a ticket till they measured it, then he said "we dont have to measure, the lowest part of your car cannot exceed the lowest part of your rim... so i looked at my rim and told him...does my car look 1 inch of the ground? 225/40/18. then he let me go with a state ref on header, but its carb legal. state ref...no big deal.

Cops will pull you over no matter what car you are in if you did that.
Obviously he had no vendetta against you if you got off scott free AFTER having no license.

But this thread is about getting pulled over, period. So no hate. :D

I run my car with I/H/3"E. My car is loud as hell, and for a long time I had jdm plates and got no problem. I'm just waiting to be pulled over. But as long as you drive sane, the chances of getting pulled over is alot lower.:2f2f:

Foster City cops have nothing to do with their life. Back in December when I went down there I was in F.C. for like 2 minutes before I got pulled over. The cop was in front of me and put on his lights, came over and told me to go because he thought I was someone else. That is when my car was all stock, had the foam wing and everything. A few months back I got pulled over and got my hood popped, and BAM! There was my single cam KA with duct tape on the intake. He said he pulled me over because my license plate bulb was out. My N1 made a lot of noise though so that could have also have been a probable excuse too.
