Sony Playstation 2, modified with DMS4 Pro ModChip (more info at http://www.modchip.com), currently the installed Bios of the chip is Toxic OS. Also the overheating issue with slim PS2 have been resolved with a onboard Laserfix PCB "Neofix XIV" (again, read more on http://www.modchip.com)
This system is bootable to all media including CD-R and DVD-R, although it doesn't like certain brands of DVD+R. It could be the brand I used. This PS2 can play NTSC or PAL by employing ForcePAL mode in the ToxicOS.
You can download your own Bios/OS elsewhere but I been using ToxicOS.
This modchip goes for 59$ on modchip.com and installation was REALLY REALLY hard since the design is so compact. To mod a slim type will cost 100$ around socal and $150 for high end chips like this one.
I'm asking for 150$ + shipping but prefer cash pick up in socal. Email me at [email protected]
