to the owner of the hardtop se 240sx that sold today...you were literally quarter of a step ahead of me or it would be mine...let me tell you this: if i see that car resurface or if i catch you selling it for a profit, i will personally find you and hunt you down...and yes, i know exactly how much you paid...i will do all that is in my power to ruin your sale and teach all you resellers a lesson...appreciate the car and be grateful for your deal; dont push it...you got there before me fair and square, but if i found out i lost a potential car to a greedy little reseller, it gets personal...i dont let ingrates ruin my plans...and for those of you thinking its none of my business; it usually wouldnt be...but it is when we're after the same thing and someone who would appreciate the car and turn down a healthy profit like myself loses the opportunity to someone that just wants a quick buck...fair warning, i am dead serious

Haha. i buy 240's for cheap and sell them for double all the time. Theres nothing wrong with it. Its your own fault if you miss out on a car, and if i own the car i can sell it for whatever i want.

Yeah dude, the thing is that your mixing up personal shit (your desire and goals you had for the car) with business. Business is business, who knows the buyer is probably making a living off that kind of thing? When it comes to business its a bad idea to start invovling personal matters

lets see my 240 buying history
first s13, 2700 bucks
2nd s13, 500 bucks
3rd s13, 500 bucks
4th s13, free
5th s14, 2500
u just have to get up on the good deals. who cares if u make profit doing it. if i bought a 240 for cheap cuz someone didnt know the value or cared, and i didnt need it, id fix it and flip it for twice the price. i mean we all need $. average price for a s13 is 2500 stock, average price for a s14 is starting 5000. i mean why not make $?

My 1st 240 (s13) I got for $1100, sold for $1700 with little money in it.

2nd 240 (S13) I got for $1100 as well, sold for $1500, no money in it at all.

3rd 240 (S13) I got for $1200, Hicas hatch and sold for $1850, with only a tuneup I did.

Current 240 (S14) I bought for $2500, now have a 1k paint job and its worth atleast 4k.

Prior to my 240's, I bought a turbo TSi Talon for $900, that didnt move. brakes were locked up...thats all, did a tune up on it...maybe $200. And Sold a month or 2 later for 4k. :)

Prior to my Talon I got a 93 ford mustang at a auto auction for $87. YES $87. I dropped a 302/t5 in it with supporting mods, maybe $2000 in it. Sold for $5000.

I love buying cars for a profit. :) I tell anyone, if you have the cash, you can always find good deals. :) Sorry for your bad luck.

To vent is a healthy thing to do. to try and stop Capitalism on the other hand... well ask the Russians how that worked for them. JK
Sorry to hear, happens to all of us. Have cash on hand cause you never know. A better deal is just around the corner.

Brother picked up an AE86 GTS literally one block from the house for ~$700. Busted alternator and starter, clean otherwise. Wanted $2000 for it. A friend and I thought we could do better. We sold it for $3500, gave my brother his $2000 and made a healthy profit for ourselves. Middle man FTW!?
