I have put the motor in and wired everything up.. it starts but runs like shit (sputtering/and rich as hell) Code 21 apears on the ECU..
Has anyone experienced this? If so what did u do to fix it??
* it's not the ignitor chip.. i replaced it and reset the computer.
P.S. i followed heavy throttle's instructions

did you time it, compression, all the other simple tests that you could do. please explain your situation a little bit better, ther could be a million things wrong wiht it. One by one pull your coils to see if it stumbles more, if it does then the cylindar is firing and getting fuel. do it to each and see if it tells you anything.

do u think that bad grounds might cause that problem??

poorly connected MAF, timing could be off, there could be many things, diagnose all

pressure test the for boost leaks and vacuum leaks. sounds exactly like a bad vacuum leak to me.
also sounds like it could be timing too retarded, but advanced enough to get the engine to barely run. that could also be why ur running rich.
if these 2 things check out, but i'll put money down that its either one of these, check compression or do a leakdown. better yet, check all sensor voltages per FSM and see if all are ok. then if you still cant find the problem, try coilpack diagnosis, check coilpack harness ground, injector diagnosis, THEN a leakdown.

well im gone try everything suggested.. i let u know

i've tried all the suggested ideas.. I found that cyl 2 doesn't have spark but tested the coil and it works on the other cylinders.
.. I checked the wiring and look good..
Im using a 62 ecu on a red top. Doesn't anyone have an suggestions??

it could be that your idle sensor has gone bad. (iacv)

i don't understand why the iacv going bad will cause cyl 2 to have no spark??

i know you said you checked wiring, see if the ecu connecter is seated properly, make sure none of the pins are bent or have corrosion on them.

i have checked the pins at the computer for corrosion or bent pins, looks fine, does anyone know what sends the signal to fire the coils? if its the ecu do u know what pins are for the coils???

sourced from another place, but i don't remember where, i'm not taking credit for it. I have a picture of the pin out numbers but idk how to put on pictures...

RESOLVED!!! from ecu pin 2 (Coilpack 2) to the ignitor had a faulty wire causing the motor to run on 3 cyl. I re ran the wire and the car runs on for 4 cyl now. Purrs now
That was a three day mind bogger..
I would like to thank everyone that posted to help me with this problem

check ing ground (coilpack harness ground) and check plugs

finally found proper ecu reset.. i get code 55..
Now the car idles low and when revved to 3500-4100 run's like shit.. (sputting) and when let go off gas it dies.
im using NGK R5671a-7 (number 7 race plugs) gaped at .030
does anyone have any ideas now??
