I'll be building up a very high power 240sx and want to know what the widest rims made are.  I tried on tires.com and tirerack.com, but the widest I found was like 7.5.  I want something like 9" or even 10" wide so I can run massive rubber.  Any ideas?

oh, for the S13 with the 4x114.3 bolt pattern.  And I'm not interested in converting to 5x114.3 either, thanks.

racing hart and volk makes 17x9" wheels, in 4 lug, many companies dont make them that wide in 4 lug so good luck

9/10 inch wide wheels? you have any idea how much those things with those enourmous tires are going to weigh? unless you're going to be drag racing, anything more than a 7.5'' wheel i really don't see any use for.
remember, unsprung rotating mass is very very bad.

You know, I met these two guys at a track that had rims like that (5 lug) - one was driving a built z06 and the other a built Viper.

Unless you are putting down that kind of power, 7.5" is more than enough.

I personally would put on 10" wheels with a stock motor.  Because they look cooler.  But I guess that would make me lame... I guess I never reallly put performance and pizza cutter in the same sentance...

I want to put 17x8's on the front, and 17x9's on the back.  That would be sweet.  Talk about hooking up.  You can get fairly light weight wheels if you got the money..  I think advan makes some sub 18lb wheels that wide.  The rubber wouldn't be that much heavier either since the side walls would be much shorter.  Granted all that is heavier, but I don't think you would notice a difference.  especially running a monster power.  A light turbo app, and there is no notice either.
