So deciding between gears is a lot less important now, slapped a 14b on my KAE!!! Parts list:

Gladman manifold
td05-14b
TIAL BOV
2.5" DP/charge
Open dumped W/G
Blow-through stock MAF
22x9x3 Yonaka cooler
TRE pump
FC 460's
TunerProRT street tuned
10lbs boost

Car feels extremely good up to like 5500 but it's such a small turbo. 20g to go in soon. That's when the real fun will start.

get a dyno sheet before you go to the 20g.

As far as the pipes, I gotta have at least a little bit of bling in there, lol. Yes, I did break a stud off when ditshing the fan.....I need to pull one off my dual cam to replace it. Anyone notice the sweet rerouted harness? Kinda proud of how much cleaner that made it.


Oh, TP is the software you can download online to burn ROMs and run emulators. IMO chipping the ECU is your best bet for management. Check out eccs.hybridka.com to learn more. The DP is custom w/open wastegate....yay for screamer tubes, lol

14b is off of ? an eclipse? i have heard of it, its pretty small though right? did you rebuild the motor?

14b's were on 1st Gen turbo DSM's.

also, 14b's are upgrades for 2nd Gen DSM's. There are many DSM's running 12's with stock 14b's

Yes, bu those DSM's are typically 2L, not 2.4. A buddy of mine is 2.4 1g and his efficiency falls off like a mother, too. I even have a 7cm turbine housing on there but it still seems to be choking it. We'll see and thanks hella for the compliments, guys. Have a good one.
