Need some help: how can I??

:doh: :bash: i need to know how to take out the part that is around the cluster on a s13 (coupe) the part that has the hazard light button...i know i gotta unscrew the bottom board and the 2 screws right above the cluster but when all that is out how does that plastic piece come off...it seems like the stearing wheel adjustment lever is in the way...how can i get around that and get that piece off .....help please

theres a few different ways to do it...
you can either squeeze it out and risk breaking, etc
or
you can unscrew 2 or 4 bolts that holds up your steering column... you can do the first 2 and it should give you enough room... or undo all of it...the bolts i belive are a 12 btw

Yea un bolt the stering column, drop it down and you will have all the room you need. You can try to manuver it out with the stering column in, but you will probable crack or break it.

yaeh, drop that bitch. I tried w/o doing that but it didn't work out too well.

if you have really small hands..then you do not need to unscrew anything but to be on the safe side..do not go the lazy way!
