Alright I think Ive got it figured out... I already ordered a nismo knockoff rear, zeal knockoff sides and now im debating on which front bumper to get to match the sides and rear.
Im thinking of going with this vertex front bumper or maybe the gp sports zero (vertex is lower, flares out slightly more, and the two center posts are a lil smaller but they both look pretty much the same)
My concern with the vertex bumper is it might be too low for the zeal sides:ugh:

Heres a pic of what the sides and rear look like together...(ps those are knockoffs)

Heres a sideshot of the zeal sides...

Lemme know what you guys think would look good for the front
thanks:fruit:

I am not a fan of "Mixing and Matching" kits, Knock-off pieces, or Fiberglass. So I think your choices SUCK. But that's just my opinion. Instead of asking for opnions, why not just buy what you want and do it right. Screw what anyone else thinks.

I don't really like promoting knockoffs, but the front bumper you showed(first pic) looks OK to me. Most F.bumpers are a bit lower than side skirts anyway so I don't think it will look to odd
But it is your car so just do what you like

non of the full kits look good to me... but I have never seen any of these kits in person cuz AZ basically sucks for the whole racing scene. I see stock s13's and s14's every once in a while but thats about it:(

So I have to use crappy pics to decide what I want.

As far as the knockoff thing goes I have seen ebay kits in person on other cars and you cant even tell the difference so I dont see a point in dumping an assload of money into something thats gonna look the same... sure they require a lil more work but your going to end up working on the pieces no matter what you get.

thanks for your opinions

because if you only buy knock-offs, eventually there will be no new designs because they will stop trying

i would prefer an OE lip and some coilovers with a nice set of wheels. im not really a fan of the BK. i can deal with the front on the red one, but hate the sides and rear. i think the stock skirts go well with the shape of the car.

I hate the look of a stock US kouki with lip. The bumper is just ugly.

I am not a fan of the 270r rear bumper or the side skirts. They just look not that good. But if in your eyes thats how your car to look, thats cool with me.

i dont like the stock us kouki bumper with lip either unless its cut up to fit an IC and those reflectors under the headlights are shaved like this...

^this is what I was gonna originally go with but decided thats too much work for the money spent just on the lip and other materials. Id rather get a whole bumper that doesnt look so boxy. The first bumper I posted goes with the headlights better IMO.

All the sides and rears Ive looked at are usually too aggressive. I like the more subtle look of the zeal sides and nismo rear.. kouki sides look good but there is no way they will fit with the vertex front bumper and nismo rear

oh and just to let you guys know I already have all top of the line suspension products and KTS coilovers w/18" ADR Kasai to make the car look close to slammed:) along with 300zx brakes

its kinda funny/ironic that you called it the "racing" scene but youre looking for a bodykit. to each his own, i guess.

personally, i have the USDM kouki bumper with OEM lip because
1.) its already there, so its cheap/free
2.) i think it looks hot

you said earlier you were going for something subtle. theres nothing as subtle as stock. the nismo rear looks good, though... sides, too.

my honest opinion is that you should not give a fuck about other people's honest opinons and go with what you want. zilvia isnt usually a great place to solicit opinions. if you like the look of that vertex/gp sports front end, and they look pretty similar, go for whats cheaper.

EDIT: AZ actually has alot of shops and enthusiast hubs you can go to check out kits. its not like iowa or some other midwestern state. they may be inaccessible to you, however.

you probably have never been to az... the racing scene basically consists of mustangs, integras, eclipses, and civics. I go to firebird raceway every once in a while and NEVER have I seen a 240sx race. Shit I used to work at the bondurant school of racing and people would always show up in there vettes and stangs like we didnt see enough of them at the school.
