Man you didn't declare H22. Not to mention you have no main function. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/hehe.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':hehe:'> that focker won't compile <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sigh.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>

Uriah,

Hum lets see, better get out the trusty slide rule for this one...

H22 + $$$ + custom Bellhousing + $$$$ + custom fabrication + even more $$$$ + a rat's nest of wiring <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/crazy.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''> =

A. Less hp than a stock sr.
B. 3 times the cost ($$$<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'> of a stock sr (in the least).
C. A BS story.

But, you get a gold star for being creative. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumbs-up.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>

although, since he started this thread, I say we have some fun, and talk about actual things people have said they've tried.

like a civic with a SR20. &nbsp;someone has pictures of a civic with a SR20 in it....um.......I suppose it possibly could be done, you'd have to cut a hole for the shifter probably, hopefully the tranny won't be too big. &nbsp;they showed the engine in the engine bay....um, not running, I doubt it was even bolted in place.

when you are saying h22!=fwd, it will always return true, since it will just compare the memory addresses of the first elements of each array (if char h22[4], then h22 = pointer to h22[0])... so this will won't work the way you want

Yup Kreator is right you would need a function with a loop that would compare the contents of each segment of the aray then return false it each segment did not match. Besides if you included the string library you could just compare the strings. And I don't see a #iostream for you incertion and extraction operators. when you say h22==fwd, you are comparing memory addresses of the h22[0] abd fwd[0], so unless they are the same (what is impossible since they are both declared seperatly), h22==fwd will always return false, no matter what what h22 and fwd conatin as char arrays

HAHA but if we put main() int another file we would have to create a make file, and I think that is out of our depth and it has been 3 years since I turned in my last c++ assignment.

Oh yeah and that's right it's iostream.h, it's all comming back to me now...I will be back to writing linked lists in no time.

<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'>

Edit: iostream.h and iostring.h are two different libraries...IIRC but both contain your basic incertion and extraction operators.

Hum think I will stick to my day job with routers and shit.

Well acctully ace is not wrong there are a ff sr20 it cam from a gtr or some thing i con't remeber which right now i have a slight hang over from last night. But i have seen one before in person.Remember that in 91 we got the sr20de in the sentra se-r it was a ff so don't think that there was not a ff sr20det cus there is and yes civics can put them in while there are other engines that they could get that may be better but cost a little more.

The way to get an sr20det into your ff car is to mate an awd sr20det motor w/ an ff sr20de tranny. It is a straight bolt up. IIRC, the Puslar GTiR and the Bluebird only come awd w/ sr20det.

**edit** it must suck to be geeky enough to know code, but not geeky enough to use it &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/whatsthat.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':whatthe:'>

Lol who is your buddy? He doesn't know jack about coding <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'>

First, off if this is c++ (and i suppose it is beacuse of #include), if(h22 = FWD) will ALWAYS return true, cuz all you do is assign FWD value to h22 (sometimes its correct approach, but i don't think it's correctly used here <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> Second thing, how the hell a240 is supposed to execute if there is no call to it from main? And 3rd thing (i'm unsure about and i don't feel like diging up my c++ reference) why are u using public on main and a240? There are no classes there, so it's kinda worthless <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

Ummm, i don't think there exists iostring.h... I know of string.h, but not of iostring.h. basicly iostream means input output stream. and input output string makes no sense to me <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'>

Hipposleek is completely correct, they Bluebird is a ff sr20det, and it is also a direct drop-in for the 200sx, and btw, the 95-present Nissan 200sx SE-R comes with the Sr20de(I don't believe that there is a turbo option), and as we all know, there are many turbo kits out there for that motor. &nbsp;Lates
