how are you getting 28mpg? i thought manuals save more gas than automatics. it seems that i only get about 18-20mpg on my ka non-turbo. thats pretty shitty compared to your 28. let me know your secret.

Driving @ the Speed Limit
Using cruise control
Keep windows closed @ over 60mph
Removing Excess Weight
Avoiding Excessive Idling
Using Overdrive
Less restrictive intake and filter regularly serviced
Keep Tires Properly Inflated and the car properly aligned
Using synthetic oil and regular oil changes every 3k miles
New bosch fuel filter
New o2 sensor
Platinum spark plugs and 8.5mm wires
2.25"exhaust and newer cat installed in 03
91 octane from shell or chevron will always last you longer
Never use the A/c
And use the freeway as much as possible.

... I personally get about 26-28 MPG on my coupe, so I have no problem beleiving that a well-maintained and newer car with minor modifications, driven conservatively can get that as well.

S14 here in norcal range from 4.5k to 5.5k That seems like a reasonable offer for a car with a 10 year old factory paint job with chips here and there and abused daily by young guys that think their pro drifters/racers. Just to be fair you got to think about that for around 5k you can't get an s14 with a new paint job, body kit, and new suspension and up date on ALL its maintenance and problem free like this s14.

oh yeah... did you forget that your car has a SALVAGED TITLE... even if the accidnet was minor, it still has a salvaged title which decreses the value of any car dramatically... putting mods on your car def does not incease the value of your car, you will not earn back what you put in.

it'll cost the owner more money to re-do the body work, and probably other stuff.
car w/ that kind of face value also says a lot of what perhaps lay mechanically as well as its drivetrain components.
