quiet canister exhaust for turbo 240?

Looking to get exhaust for my 240 w/ ca18 and I like the look of angled exhausts. I also like the car to be quiet though. I was thinking about RS*R exmag cause of the low noise but not a big fan of the muffler. Any canister exhausts that are pretty quiet? I've been thinking about Espelir JGT500 and GReddy PEII but want to lean away from the GReddy cause its special order I think. any input appreciated

All canister exhausts are loud is you're scared about noise then dont get one at all.

I think any of those catbacks that are designed to be 93db or lower are pretty quiet.

I have a redtop and I'm running the 5zigen Proracer 70mm (has resonator) catback and it's barely louder than stock. I think even with the 80mm, it won't be much louder. The resonator makes quite a difference.

well saying all canister exhausts are loud is just plain BS. I have a Apexi N1, 3" stainless with a resonated test pipe. KA-T. It's quiet as hell. Anything resonated on a turbo car will have a good low tone.

my hks hiper wasn't too loud, definitely more quiet than the apex single for comparison.

i also had a custom exhaust, no resonator and singe canister magnaflow, it was far quieter than the hks and more stealth

Something that's quiet but sounds awesome is the Apex'i GT-spec with the silencer in. It's a huge canister, but with the silencer in, it has a nice growl, and sounds great at WOT.

no silencer here. full 3" dual tip, loud as hell, small resonator. easily over 110db+ would fail sound test at idle haha (exagerrating)
the old kakimoto would make your ears ring under WOT with a helmet on at the track
the new RS*R is quiet, me=sad.
ill get another kakimoto. that thing was rad

but for streets, the RS*R exmag is really quiet. im sure w/ the silencer i'd think i was using a stock exhaust.

i have an apexi n1 and my motor dont sound like it on during idle . greddy header, megan 3in dp, test pipe n cat back from apexi. If you want it to be quiet, daisy-chain some resonators or cats. I have an extra resonator from HKS that super huge bigger than 3 muffler put together. My friend gave it to me and it sitting in the garage. If you want it. pm me.

im running an apex'i n1 evo 3" exhaust on my n/a ka.

in my opinion, it isnt loud at all if your just cruising. its just really mellow and a tad bassy at cruise and it gets somewhat loud at WOT, but then again most cars get loud at WOT.

its not like you'll be driving around 4k+ when your just trying to get from point a to b right?

Funny, I recently took out the resonator off my blitz and shiet got quieter. Anyways, like said before. Anything with a TRUE resonator in the exhaust will be quiet. Not those canister style resonators but the flat resonators. A friend of mines running a full 3 inch straight pipe and its quiet. Quiet cuz hes running a used resonator from a Dodge Ram truck with the pipes.

yeah a 3 inch striaght pipe is f-ing loud on na ka i have the same problem with out the scilencer it sound like a jet and with it in it sounds ghey. i thinking of intalling a resonator so i can actually use the 3 inch capability or just buy a turbo. :wackit:

Yeah my Invidia G200 exhaust isn't so much loud as it is bassy and deep, well it does get loud at full throtle but that should be expected. I have been in louder cars before thought so I would say its medium volume. Ordered a 5Zigen Proracer a-spec will let you know how that sounds.

i run a Gp Sports Spec D pro,with 3 inche piping from the turbo back and its quiet.It has a resonator and I still have a cat , but its pretty much toast. I'll let u kno how loud it is when i get my test pipe put on. But yah its WAY quieter than My old Espelir exhaust i use to have on my SR.
