i replaced my bov yesterday cus there was a leak in my old one. now it idles better but now i have another problem.

At cold start idling, it will idle a little above 1k rpm which is fine, but every 5 seconds or so it will stumble a little bit. you can hear the exhaust kind of burping.. it keeps doing that at idle until i drive the car around a little while.

i wonder if my plugs are fouled? i checked them a couple days ago and they were fine..what else could it be?

also, when i restart my car when the engine is warm, the engine almost dies then comes right back up, then idle goes down again, then smooths out after i give it a little gas..ive learned to deal with it just by hitting the gas a little after i start the car..its annoying though knowing theres something not quite right.

Let me know what you guys think! thanks.

Check all your vacuum lines.

i did..those are the first things i always check. maybe im missing something. or maybe my bov is still leaking? i have the adjustment screw on the bov all the way loose..could that be the problem?

ive heard the coolant temp sensor might mess with your idle and stuff?

tighten the adjustment screw a little and see if that helps. i had the same problem with my sr and that was the solution.

Adjust it as tightly as possible without causing compressor surge. You will have to play with the adjustment. It should vent under light boost. You don't need it to vent when revving in neutral.

no matter how far i tighten it, i still get the fluttering sound from the intake... even when im in neutral. and when im driving, it flutters even when im in vacuum..and i still get the cold engine stumbles.
