Is anyone elses interior faded. I have a 1991 fastback and I think the sunroof is causing some interior fading. All my buttons are mostly faded and my ashtray is peeling. My console is getting nasty too. I went hunting at a junkyard for new parts, and they had the same probelm.
Anyone else have this going on?

even tho I dont own a car I see the exact same symptoms on my friends 89' coupe... btw he doesnt have a sun roof so I dont think thats the source of your problems... a suggestion would be to *Give it the Krylon Touch* every once in awhile..

Mine's no where NEAR bad...but my floormats have turned to almost a light blue color. I believe they were originally light grey. Sucks... <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/crazy.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>

holy sh!t - it's riot. I heard from Mike (YC) that you got a 240, so I figured it was only a matter of time before I saw you around. Welcome.
Mark - the d.c. guy w/ a 240

Oh and to keep it on topic, the only thing that is really faded in my 91 is the turn signal levers. The lady who owned it before me gave it lots of TLC <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>

yeah, everything in my car is fading too. both levers and the dash.. plus the shoulder belt button. I'll probably paint those things with a brush..

On the Steering levers get some steel wool and rub those bad boys down. it's not fading, it's oxidation. if you don't believe me, scratch them with your fingernail. It will come right off.
