Ok, so im getting a gt2871r .64. mild cam,ECU, SAFC tub mani..ext ext and i dont know what injectors to get. i See a lot of people running 740's or 72# but i also see people running as small as 550's. i will not be upgrading turbos again so wtf should i get i dont want to stress my injectors and run them out on there duty cycle.Seeing a consistant 200cc plus differnce on injector choices with the same turbo (.64) has me confused.

Without cams or intake mani you should be fine with 550's, now if you do plan to run those and try to get more out of the turbo I would suggest 740's. Actually if you don't already have injectors you may as well go with 740's as the difference in initial cost is minimal.

740cc injectors if you're running the stock sidefeed rail still. 750cc injectors if you're running a topfeed rail. Just upgrade now because like Angel said the cost is minimal.

It also depends on what you are controlling fuel with:

SAFC says it can only control injectors 50% larger than stock. Stock SR injectors are 370cc + 50% * 370cc = 370cc + 185cc = 555cc

So, with an SAFC, you should only run an injector up to 555cc (or fudge up a little). 740cc injectors, I think, will not run smoothly with an SAFC. So, you'll have to limit yourself to 550cc injectors.

I'm sure you could get the 740cc to work, but I think you'll end up running pig-rich in any off-boost situation (90% of daily driving) which could prematurely kill sparkplugs, possibly wash oil away from the piston walls, kill gas mileage, and slow performance. But, I don't have an SR, nor do I have 740cc injetors, so this is just guesstimation based on what I've read.

Ditch the afc, it'll hamper you in the end with that turbo.

ECU tune + AFC for minor tweaks + 740s

Actually, you can run upto 2X the original injector size on the SAFC. Since the SR 370's actually flow 410cc/min @3bar, you will be able to control 740's just fine with them. Although you won't need injectors that large for the turbo.

Our DeatschWerks 650's would probably be the perfect size for your application...
