View Full Version : News Update
Just a quick update. I put the site up because vBulletin said that they completed the iB3 to vB conversion script so I get with the site and move on to the forum and everything seems to come across but of course it says it for vB 2.2.0 when their latest is 2.2.6. So that is possibily a problem. We can also thank Microshaft for their nice refresh feature that will pop up whatever IE page that is refreshed while your working on other things. So, of course it poped up just in time as I closing another window and then stoped the conversion. So I will try this tomorrow or the next day. Ive been here all day and its time for a beer... <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>

Drink away!!!! Don't pee in the bed though! That would be bad. Then you would have to spend time washing your sheets and airing out your mattress and that would take time from the conversion. J/K

cool. I hope it all works out nice and smooth. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumbs-up.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>
I feel your frustration, West! I absolutely HATE it when ie browsers pop up when they've finished loading. It assumes you're running only one or two programs and takes not into account that many of us multitask 4,5, 6 and more programs (or windows, at least) at a time.
Anyone know how we can stop this annoying feature?
Any Microsoft Techs happen to drive a 240? <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

any idea when your planning to complete the next update?
I probly wont have time to try to convert it again until Sat. I might try today but I have to be somewhere @ 5, so If I feel like coming back into work I might because I really want to get rid of Ikonshiot.
YAY! vBulletin people are as smart as the Ikondingus's. They told me the script wasent in Beta form anymore, but to bad its for 2.2.0 and the latest is 2.2.6. So... again we wait. At least I have a contact to one of the guys who is working on the final version of the script. Ill keep everyone informed.

West- this may or may not help you. I am looking to help a project as an addition to my porfolio. I have been creating and maintaining web sites for the last five years, is there a possibility you would like some help with the Zilvia site?
Email me if you wish.

I'm sorry. I don't mean for this to be obnoxious, but I read this post and then glanced at my own start bar. I just had to copy and paste it. I shrunk it by 50% because my resolution is set to 1600x1200.

If anyone is wondering how I set the resolution so high or I'm running so many apps, or even how my start bar is two rows of buttons high: I'm at work. Here, my monitor is 21" and my computer is only a mere 733mHz with 128mb ram, but I'm running NT which is awfully stable. I recommend it quite highly.
Anyway, yeah, I guess I'm in the "and more" catagory, huh?

Holy mother of cows and other forms of cattle!! That's one helluva start bar! <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/crazy.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''> I know how to get 2 bars of stuff (and well, more if need be) but woah that's a lot of stuff open. Though half of 'em are IM windows... which don't count. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'> kidding.
WinNT you say eh? ...
