Well, I took the 240 out for the first time today since the swap. Pretty crazy but I did manage to get around the block :) Everything seemed fine except...
There is a loud squealing noise coming from my rear brakes when I get going, It's not a belt squeal so don't say that. I'm pretty sure it's because my parking brake is terrible and is locking up my rears. So basically I just wanna know whats the easiest way to see if the cables are freezing up or if it has something do with the brakes themselves. The pads looked pretty thick still, so I don't think its that.
The parking brake doesn't go up high at all. But what happens is...I pull the parking brake as far as it will go...... and it will hold the car under light acceleration. But when I put it back down, it will go down VERY easily like it didn't even do anything and it will still hold under light acceleration. I'll give it some more gas and then it will start to go and will fine until I press the brakes.
Hoping someone else had this problem and knows exactly what to do...
Thanks for any help
