Do you like carbon fiber hoods?

Pretty self explanatory, do u like the unpainted carbon fiber look? I personally hate it (looks semi-ok on black cars) looks like the car has a junkyard hood &nbsp;<img src="#/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/huh.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':huh:'> &nbsp;Now if it's painted I could care less, less wieght is always good &nbsp;<img src="#/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumbs-up.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':thumbsup:'>

I think they look neat on black cars, but on anything else its to "showy" for my taste.

I never seen a CF hood paint, how can people know you have a CF hood if you paint it? anyone have a pic of a painted hood?

Thats the whole point man. &nbsp;You get the weight reduction w/out the look...

A painted cf hood should look no different on the top than a stock hood...

I HATE people who have unpainted cf hoods on anything but a black car (and then I just strongly dislike them).

It looks ghetto as hell. &nbsp;Do you people leave your "kits" unpainted too to show off that you have non-factory items? &nbsp;Why is the hood any different? &nbsp;IMO, nothing says "hoop ride" like mis-matched body panels. &nbsp; <img src="#/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/dozingoff.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':zzz:'>

oh well when i get my hood im gonna have to leave it black because there is no way to make it white.. &nbsp;

and then ive seen "painted" hoods.. &nbsp;rather disgusting.. &nbsp;never really finishes right.. &nbsp;oh well..

seeing as I have a red fastback with &nbsp;240Meowth's blue driver's fender and headlight cover and a hood with primer on some areas (and can't pay for paint), I would definately take an unpainted CF hood! <img src="#/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'>
