Nearly put my car into a pole! :aw:
Car has:
Coilovers, camber plates
S14 brakes
Here's the situation, I am not sure if it's the brakes or the suspension, but I am leaning towards brakes. My car has S14 SR20DET brakes and the car's alignment seems fine.
Somedays the car will drive perfectly straight, but when I hit the brakes the car will swerve to the right.
Other days the car will pull slightly to the right, but when I hit the brakes the car will stay relatively straight.
What's wrong with the car?

first you should check to make sure everything is torqued down properly.. also check for bent/broken suspension pieces.
also it could be one of your calipers may be sticking.. i had the rear passenger on one of my s13 hatches "freeze" up and send me into a ditch.
Have you recently done/or had someone do your brakes? if so.. verify that the brakes/pins everything is in there correctly.. make sure the sliders are properly lubed.. a way to test for a "sticking" caliper is to jack up the wheel(S) u suspect to be having the issue and spin it with your hand.. if you feel big time resistance then u may have a caliper problem.. on the flip side, you may have a caliper that is NOT engaging. for that.. spin the wheel by hand and have someone tap the brake.. of course these are very generic DIY ways.. ultimately if your not sure.. take it to a brake shop.. could save your life and alot of money.

Also check your front lower control arms. I've read that worn LCAs will tend to do that. I had that problem, and my LCAs were shot. Im in the middle of replacing them + tie rods though.
How do your bushings look in the front?

After checking all above and if everything is ok, get it aligned.

idk if this might help but i had something of a similar problem.... my lower control arm was cracked... ( i have no idea how ) and it kept on giving me brake pull so ... check everything on your suspension ... not just your brakes and such... but all your rods, arms and etc.

You can also check to see if your rims are hot, a sticking caliper will cause everything to heat up cause it is contantly applied, just go for a 10 minute drive or do what rican_nick said.
Take it into a alignment shop and they will check over the front end for you, they have to before they do an alighnment otherwise the alignment will not be true if there is a problem, also tell them what the car is doing...

Yah my tie rods were bad too and shot... Pulled like crazy sometimes and others not really. Felt like soemthing was loose in the suspension, but checked everything and it was ok. Time to upgrade to SPL.....
