just visited my bros house and decided to check out his wheels that were laying there for years, at first i thought they are some cheap american wheels by the looks but i researched the name HRE and they're a good breand it seems but i got no clue on model name and price. they're 17" 3-spoke forged wheels with 215/40r17 z rated toyo proxies all around with good thread. i don't have photos either, but info and value would be nice. thanks

So you expect us to help you identify a wheel without you providing a picture? I don't wanna seem like an ass, but that's pretty stupid.

That's like saying, "I saw this car today, it was blue with some wheels, and a girl driver. I wanted to know what kind of car it was. I don't got a picture, but I'm hoping you guys can help."

Also, HRE's do NOT look cheap.

HREs are baller status but scca and some other sanctioning bodies banned them because of so many people having problems with them, iirc some old threads about this.

And pics would help.

Since you are in sac and you are local i'll give you $100 for them depending on offset and size. How do you konw if you bro just didnt put a HRE center cap on it?

The only 3 spoke wheels designed by HRE that I have been able to find anything about would be these on a Vector M12.

I find myself doubting that you just stumbled across a set of these wheels, but I have been mistaken before. I believe they were produced sometime between 1991 and 1994 though.

The fronts don't look too promising on the width/offset side of things, IMO.

Dear god this thread blows...

Those 3 spokes look like the kind of wheels ricers put on their '92 Preludes...

And wtf was Vector thinking, that car is a design catastrophe! (IMO :fawk:)

actually, those wheels are exactly what my bro has but with different offset. the lines and bolts match up and everything plus the tires aren't cheap either so im guessing the wheels can't be knock-offs?. yeah the wheels don't look to good but owell. value? thanks for the help

I'll paypal you a dollar to put them on your car for a day and scream "I'm rockin' HRE's DAWWWGGG!!!!"

Honestly I dont know what they would be worth, HRE's are high Value, but those are ugly, whate width/offset are they?
