Definitly the CRX, the bike is ok but dual-sport is not very good for street riding, especially freeway. Rx7 looks nice but I dunno about the maintanence and reliability. CRX looks to be in good shape and its reliable/cheap.

CRX, and put some 15s with 195s on it to cut down on rolling resistance to increase gas mileage.

They're fun little cars, I've heard. Lift-throttle oversteer and all that jazz.

If i knew how to maintain a rotary well enough, I would choose the rx7.

The CRX would be my second choice.

The bike would be a not so great daily. I think the point of a daily is to get from point a to point b reliably and cheaply. Being comfortable wouldnt be so bad either, which by itself would eliminate the bike imo.

yea it looks nice, but almost to good to be true. The bike would be ridden on the back roads to and from work and I really want to learn how to ride better. The RX7 would eventually turn into a V8 project. They all have there upsides, but for now need to get me from A-B with better gas milage than my fuckin van.

Buy whatever you like the least. If you don't like the car it won't turn into a project! Its a bit hypocritical for me to say, because as a car enthusiast, I won't buy anything I don't like. If I like the car, I start spending money on it.

RX7 is so much less of a Honda than CRX so I vote RX7. But a CRX is one of the only Honda's I can stomach. Tough call.

If it starts raining again, it would be a death wish to ride the bike.

Sell the goods off the crx and get stock rims to get the best gas mileage. Then the profit you made from selling some junk off the crx can go to gas or tune-up.

Bike is out cuase of rain, and shitty freewayability (i made that one up :p) and the RX7 is pretty shitty to keep maintaned AND it gets terrible gas milage, so thats out too. logic points to CRX... :)

It looks too good to be true though. Look at the picture of the car. It is only 1 section of it. The other side and front/rear may be busted up. Not to mention interior.

I prefer the RX-7 1000000 times to the CRX but you said a daily car. The RX-7 is gonna cost you a lot of money (fuel, parts and mecanics if you don't know these engines). Just the sound of a rotary, even if it's N/A. Doesn't take a lot of mods for a N/A RX-7 to be fun. Open the six port, removal of cats, intake and couple of other things and it's a fun car, not the fastest but fun to drive. For a daily drive car, go with the CRX, at the price that the fuel is these days ....:tweak: :eek:

I only consider the CRX becaucs it wouldnt be horrible to drive, get good milage and it was cheep and nice. Its really hard for me to actually bend over and get one because I really hate FF, so it definatly wouldnt turn into a project (another plus). So motor swaps are out of the question.

Theft rate doesnt bother me. I live in Marin, and my cars are fenced in at night, so its not to bad. I just commute to sausalito every day, and theres no way you can get the car out of the parking lot where I work either, so its cool on the theift rate. I would put some simple switches in anyway, do that to all my cars.

What are some other cars that would be good daily drivers? We all know that I like S13's, but what else? Trying to keep it under 2k.
