I didn't think you could get any other fuse to fit!?!? I would put the correct one in, you are talking about the 75 amp fuse right? It will cause all kinds of problems with the fuse blown. It wont be chargeing, gages will be wacky then it will suck your batt dry and die. It might be the cause of it not starting. Check the other fuses, if that one poped, there is a good chance more did as well. Start there, make sure you have a good battery as well. Good luck

No, somthings missing,Is the battery good? Even if the alt. was bad it should start with a good batt, till the batt voltage in sucked out.
I take it that it was running befor you started the alt. change.
Does the starter sound any different than befor?
sorry for the questions, I'm just trying to think, you know how tough that is!!LOL

actually i jus got done rebuilding it replacing the bearings and rings then i go and drop it in today. the only thing that i dont have hooked up is the o2 sensor and the tranny sensors i dont know if that will effect anything

What motor? I'm asuming it is a ka24de? the valves do not ajust, there are shims that you are supose to ''gap'' but it should run anyway, you are talking of thousands of an inch gap.
If you installed a cam, recheck your timing. that will cause it not to start.

so wat would be the easiest way to check the timing?i really dont want to spend too much time on it anymore this shit is stressing me out becuz i checked the timng before i put the motor back together lining up the marks on the chain and camshaft and crank

This happened to me when i crossed the polarity. + to - and - to + Check your wiring. Its probably shorting somewhere or bad ground.
