toyota will run forever, i remember on top gear they had a old pickup and beat the living shit out of it, underwater, being blown up with a building, and some other things.. still started right up

What year and model is your toyota pick up truck? Maybe I'll get that model.

just find one with minimal rust and an engine that has been well maintained and it will run for ever. bought ours for 100 bucks and needed a new battery, and ran ever since.

I have a 1987 Ford Ranger. It's rusty but awesome. I've rolled it twice, and it's never skipped a beat. I let it sit for 4 years, and then charged the battery and it fired right up. I'd get another one if I were in the market.

I'd offer $1500. According to KBB.com $2K is right if its in perfect condition, and the average mileage for that truck is 96K. I know these cars are like tanks, but see if you can get anything with lower mileage. Like under 150K.
