I searched and really couldnt find an answer to the problem im having. Ive been going through my newly purchased s13 fixing the bugs and idiotic things that the previous owner did to it. Ive been having a problem with steering wheel shake and assumed it was the wheel bearings. I was driving down a back road making quick cuts left and right with the car to try and diagnose the problem. When i turned the car sharply to the left the car felt as if the wheel was loose and had a slight hesitation/wobble feel before the wheel turned. Im assuming its either the tie rods, wheel bearing or both. I appreciate any help someone can give me.:bigok:

Check tension rod bushings and tie rods.

Get underneath and grab the tie rods and give it a little shake. They shouldn't really move. I've got the same problem and my pass. side tie rod's blown.

steering wheel shaking at certain speed ranges (50-70mph for example)...balance your tires

also check multi link shit for crack/bent rods or other damage

torque your wheels properly ( 75lbs or so)
