View Full Version : ? about M/T mounting plate

what's up guys? i bought a M/T backing plate and it appears as if what I got is an A/T mounting plate instead. I think this b/c it's a half-circle and if u guys are familiar w/ A/T's then you know that you can take the bottom half of the plate off. The bottom is like a dust plate.

So is the M/T mounting plate suppposed to be a full circle? Or is what I have the plate for a M/T? thanks

the manual trans backing plate is one large piece with a hole in the middle , in laymens terms.
Now you probably could have found this out yourself if you had used the SEARCH button. I suggest in the future you use it . You are most likely going to get flamed for asking obvious answer questions. You have been advised. :D

from all(just 2) backing plates i've seen, they were just one peice.
