I'm not sure if that's what it's called or not. But I hit a coyote and along with cracking my bumper it ripped off my left mudflap and tore out that inner liner stuff. So it looks kind of silly and i'm getting rocks up in my engine bay. Thanks.

i am personally not a big fan of the inner wheel liner
im sure there are some members on here who might be so generous to give them their old liner, i would if i still had it

dont even bother man. sure your doorjams get a little crunchy. but youll end up ripping it out one day anyway if you ever decide to run wheels that dont suck. i'd have much bigger things to worry about if i hit a deer, fuck.

I just threw both of mine in the dumpster a couple weeks ago. My JICs told me to do it.
But if you need liners... hit up the dealership. They are your best bet, reasonably priced also.

I'm pretty sure fender liner isn't going to stop rocks from going into your engine bay. I ripped out mine like a month after I bought the car.

Fender liner lines the FENDER, nothing more. So unless you want to protect. . .your door jams or whatever, don't bother.

Maybe you're missing your splashguards underneath the engine bay?

Well, shit flies off your tires and into your bay if you don't have them. yeah, they get in the way of bigger wheels/tires/angle but it keeps shit out. especially during rainy season. the top part also keeps you from eating your harness ahah

You arn't getting anything thrown in your engine bay. Because the fender is still over the wheel.

Well I only get rocks on that side, and I don't open the hood and dump them in there. Maybe Spiderman is right about the splash guard. I'm gonna check it out more tommorow.

Yeah, the Splash Shield keeps the water/dirt/rocks/heat out of the engine from the asphalt.

I havent had fender liners or the splash guard on my car for like 3 1/2 years. No problems at all. Just leave them off.

The Splash guards help down here with the rainy season. Also, during the summer the heat off the pavement. Suposidly helps with airflow too.

losing your fender liner will get dirt and crap in your engine bay due to the small triangular holes at the back of the fender. it doesn't seem like much could get through there, but it does. as soon as i removed mine (a little over 2 years ago) i started getting rocks and dirt in the engine bay.

i could seriously scoop handfulls of rocks and shit out of my fenders every few weeks when i drove my car alot
not that I care...with the fender liners I'd probably be slinging melted plastic everywhere and that would be worse

Get some fender liners for your 240.
I took mine off from my Altima, and as a result I have to power wash my engine bay every couple of months...
If your car has good suspension and wheels, you won't even be able to run fender liners. I lost a fender liner on my first S13 because the wind blowing through the sidemount tore the liner off the car.
Now the ride height and wheels I have means I can't even have fender liners. If you really want to keep junk from coming throught the wheel wells into your engine bay, cover the little trianglular holes at the rear of the engine bay.
As for the splash guard, ditch it and go with an aluminum skid plate like all the cool kids have, lol.

you can get them from any nissan dealer, junk yard, or in the wtb section. i only use the rear liners on the front, just to keep the dirt out of the hing area. i've been wanting to make some that only block the door jams, but, i just haven't had the time. I went a year without them before and to me i'd rather just deal with the occasional scraping than dirt in the door jams.

The best thing to do with that is to ziptie it higher up into the fenders which is pretty much required if you're running decent ride height anyways.
